JDRF Walk

Dr. Jeremy Scholzen was diagnosed with an adult onset of Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes about 6 years ago.

He understands what it’s like to have to be poked 10 times a day with a needle. He understands what it means to go to the birthday party and not be able to just have a piece of cake without figuring out how many carbs are in it. He knows what it’s like not to be able to have a snack when he’s hungry because he is running too high. He understands what it’s like to need a snack because he’s running low. He understands what it’s like to be diabetic and it not be your fault. He understands how frustrating of a disease it can be.

And so…he’s happy to donate and help these kids raise money to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes.

Even more impressive is how excited these kids and their families are to participate in such a worthy cause.

Here’s a bit more about the team we helped sponsor this year.
